Your Church Home in The
San Bernardino Mountains
Serving the mountain communities of Lake Arrowhead, Twin Peaks, Blue Jay, Cedar Glen, Rim Forest, Crestline, and Running Springs. Wherever you're coming from on the mountain — you belong here.
We're proud to share our campus with Lake Arrowhead Christian School
Lake Arrowhead Christian School is a K–8 Christ-centered school serving the mountain community since 1978. LACS calls our campus home during the week, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them back — this is truly a full-circle moment for both of our communities.
Your Questions Answered
What time should I arrive?
We suggest arriving about 10–15 minutes before service so you have time to find a seat and get settled. If you’re bringing kids, plan to arrive a little earlier — check-in goes smoothly but it’s nice to have a few extra minutes so everyone’s comfortable before service begins.
What are the service times?
We meet Sundays at 9:30 AM, and Wednesdays for a potluck dinner at 6:00 PM followed by Bible study at 6:45 PM. You’re welcome at either one, and you’re welcome to come just for the study on Wednesdays.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Twin Peaks, California, in the San Bernardino Mountains. We have two parking lots — a main/front lot off Grandview (best for handicap access, no stairs) and a lower/back lot behind the church. Get Directions →
What about winter weather and road conditions?
The mountain can get snow — we get it. If conditions make travel unsafe, we’ll post any service changes on our website and social media. When in doubt, check calvarycla.org or give us a call before heading up.
Can I watch online if I can't make it in person?
Absolutely. You can watch our live stream at calvarycla.org/watch.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Seriously — jeans, flannel, hiking boots. We’re a mountain community church and there’s no dress code.
Do you have ministry for kids and youth?
Yes — we have Children’s Ministry, Youth, and a Preschool program. When you arrive, our team will help you get your kids checked in and settled before service.
Can I ask Pastor Miles questions directly?
Yes — and we have a dedicated time for it. On the 3rd Sunday of every month, about 10 minutes after service, Pastor Miles hosts an open Q&A in the sanctuary. Bring your questions about Christian values, living out your faith, and the Bible. It’s relaxed, informal, and a great way to grow together in God’s Word. First-timers are always welcome.
Can’t make it, or want to think through your question ahead of time? Submit your question online, and Pastor Miles will answer it live at the next Pastor’s Corner.
When is communion observed?
Communion is held on the first Sunday of every month.
Is Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead a denominational church?
We are part of the Calvary Chapel Association (CCA) — a worldwide fellowship of Calvary Chapel churches committed to the foundational distinctives established by Pastor Chuck Smith, including verse-by-verse Bible teaching, the centrality of God’s Word, and a heart for the Holy Spirit. We are not denominational in the traditional sense, but firmly rooted in the Calvary Chapel tradition.
How is the church supported?
Entirely through the voluntary tithes and offerings of the congregation. We never pressure anyone to give — we simply trust that where God guides, God provides.
Can I bring my dog to church?
Due to liability issues and concerns, it is the policy of Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead that only fully trained Guide dogs / Seeing Eye® dogs will be allowed on church property. This includes any animals left in cars while attending services or events.
