Special Guest Speaker: Pastor Jack Abeelen
We’re excited to welcome Pastor Jack Abeelen to teach God’s Word with us on Sunday morning, November 29, at our 9:30 AM service.
Pastor Jack founded Morningstar Christian Chapel in Whittier, California, in 1985 and served there for decades. Many know him from Growing Thru Grace, a radio program heard on hundreds of stations across the country. Raised Catholic, he came to know Jesus at 18, and he has spent his life faithfully teaching the Bible verse by verse, with a heart that people would come to know the God who loves them.
Come expect clear, practical teaching from Scripture. Bring your family, bring a friend, and come early to grab a seat.

Mountain Road Conditions & Closure Map
Winter’s coming to the mountain, and we’ve built something to help you get where you’re going safely.
Our new Road Conditions page brings live Caltrans reports for Highways 18, 330, 138, 173, 189 and 38 into one place. You’ll see chain controls, closures and advisories at a glance. There’s also a map that highlights exactly where each one is, and you can tap any stretch of road for the details.
It’s free, with nothing to download or sign up for. You can find it anytime on our website or in our church app: scroll to the footer, under Visit → Road Conditions.
Please share it with your neighbors, coworkers and anyone who drives the hill. It’s a simple way to love our community well this winter. And if you’re driving up for church, check it Sunday morning. We’d love to see you here at 9:30 AM.
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills — from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1–2

2nd Timothy — Sunday Morning Service
Join us Sunday mornings as we study through the book of 2 Timothy chapter by chapter & verse by verse.
Written from a Roman prison near the end of his life, 2 Timothy is the apostle Paul’s final letter. It’s a personal charge to his spiritual son Timothy to guard the gospel, endure hardship, and faithfully preach the Word.
Pastor Miles teaches through each passage with clarity and practical application, showing how this letter speaks directly to our lives today.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Street Evangelism — 2nd Saturday of Each Month
Every second Saturday of the month we hit the streets of our community to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re handing out tracts, praying with someone, or simply having a conversation — every step matters. Romans 10:15 reminds us how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. Come be the light in our community. All are welcome — no experience necessary, just a willing heart. Contact the church office for meeting time and location details.
